”If it’s true that men are such beasts, this must account for the fact that most women are animal lovers.“

Today it was announced that Hollywood star Doris Day passed away at the age of 97.

The singer turned actress starred in films such as Pillow Talk and Calamity Jane and had a hit in 1956 with Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be).

Day was arguably the top female box-office star in Hollywood history, with a No. 1 ranking in 1960, 1962, 1963 and 1964, reigning supreme at a time when her contemporaries included Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Elizabeth Taylor.
